Joan Costin  President

As a Care Coordinator at UIC for the past 14 years, Ms. Costin assists
children with special heathcare needs. Married with two sons and a Board
Member since 2001, Ms. Costin earned a Master's in Education
from the University of Georgia.

Pam Ahlmann
Vice President

Ms. Ahlmann was appointed to the Board
in November, 2004 to fill a vacancy and
was subsequently elected in March 2005.
Ms. Ahlmann, district manager for the
Social Security Administration, is married
and has three children in District 202 schools.
Ms. Ahlmann received her B.S. degree from the
University of Wisconsin-LaCrosse in Sociology
and Psychology.

Ms. Chatman and her husband have
four daughters, the youngest of which
will join her siblings at District 202
schools next year. A Board Member
since 2000 and currently a homemaker,
Ms. Chatman received her B.S. from
Illinois State University in 1991.
 

Elected to the Board in 2003, Mr. Russo and his wife Jill have two children.
He earned an M.B.A. from Benedictine and a B.S. from the University of Illinois. Mr. Russo serves as Director of Project Management for First Alert, a manufacturer of home safety products.

Elected to the Board in 2005, Mr. Sarb
and his wife Lynda have had four of
their six children graduate from LSHS and
one child is currently attending the High
School.  Mr. Sarb is Senior Manager,
Environmental Sciences at Allstate
Insurance Co.  He has a B.A. in Economics
and M.S. in Environmental Planning from the
University of Notre Dame.

Mr. Tarasewicz and his wife have five
children attending Dist 202 schools.  Mr.
Tarasewicz, elected in 2005, is an
Electronics Engineer at Westell, Inc.  He
earned an M.S. from the Illinois Institute
of Technology, and a B.S. from the
University of Illinois at Chicago.
