LSHS School Improvement Goals
2009-10
  • District Goal #1
  • Improve academic achievement of all students in the District as measured by State and local assessments.
  • Building Goals:
  • LSHS will meet AYP in reading and math with a minimum of 77.5% of our juniors achieving a meeting or exceeded status as measured by the 2010 PSAE exam.
  • Our  composite ACT score will increase to 23 for the 2009-10 school  year.

  • Ensure a healthy, safe, nurturing and empowering learning community as measured by climate indicators.
  • Building Goal :
  • A building climate survey for staff and students will be selected and administered both in the fall as well as the spring to identify climate issues as well as to address and measure climate growth.

  • For the 2009-10 school year,  all staff members will maintain a current SOCS page on the District 202 Website.
  • During the 2010 school year, the local newspaper will publish five articles related to academic success at LSHS.
  • To better promote our opportunities for success, each LSHS teacher will provide at least one article idea for our school webpage.
